Wow, it's been a long time since I last posted anything. I lost my password. :)

My weekend was great. I went camping with some friends over at Keplar-Bradley lake. We wanted to go to Eklutna Lake, but it was full by the time we go there. So we ended up driving around for 3 hours trying to find a campground with any space open. It was fun though. Nothing crazy happened, but when we were driving I noticed a rank smell and glanced over at my friend Liz who had her feet propped up in front of the air vent, circulating the au de sweaty foot. We laughed about that for a long time.

Today I went over to Liz's house and we swam in her pond for a few hours and had log rolling contests and I think she broke my big toe when she landed on it on the trampoline. I love to play on those! I got a pretty bad sun-burn, but I avoided the leeches, so I think I got off relatively unscathed. I really like going over there because her family is big and friendly and they practically have a menagerie. A rabbit, turtles, 3 horses, a cow, 5 dogs, ducks, and 3 cats. They used to have chickens....until they ate them. Apparently they were tasty.

I've been planning to travel back to Japan with some of my best girlfriends for a year now and we were supposed to go this August...but they didn't save up enough money, one even blew all hers in Vegas a few weeks ago, so I guess I'm not going on a trip anytime soon. Maybe they'll have enough by next year. :P
